We occasionally perform hardware upgrades to ensure we are always providing the best and latest hardware for our customers.

On Friday 8th July, beginning at 5am UTC, we will be upgrading the hardware of many servers in all locations. We expect a downtime of up to 3 hours during the switchover period, however the actual length will vary (it could be shorter or longer).

We have blocked out 12 hours for this maintenance, however we do not expect servers to be affected for the entire period.

The upgrade will be performed as a rolling upgrade, which means affected servers will be upgraded at some point during the maintenance period - not necessarily at the beginning.

Rest assured that we are making every effort to minimise impact to customers.

If you would like to schedule an early transfer before the maintenance (to avoid the maintenance), please submit a support ticket from the client area with the title "Maintenance Transfer" and we will make every effort to accommodate your request. Please note that your Server IP will change if you choose to do this.

How do I know if my server is affected?

If your server is affected by this maintenance, you will see a green notice on the server control panel (https://images.shockbyte.com/knowledgebase/0pvWSLxmyv.png). During the maintenance period you may also see a "110 Daemon Error" in your server's console.

Affected customers will also receive a notice via email.
